Tibet House invites application for the post of Research Scholar cum Museum-in-charge.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Publication In-charge
• Translation of Tibetan into English and vice versa
• Introducing and explaining about the museum artefacts to visitors
• Coordination with other team members in collecting datas relevant for the Tibet House Museum
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree
• Preference will be given to a person with work experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Tibetan and English
• Proven track record of timely and accurate completion of work, if any
• Should have keen interest in Buddhist Philosophy
BASIC SALARY
The basic salary will be Rs. 17,000 per month (during the probation period) and will be increased after the completion of this period
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
1. Those satisfying all the requirements will be asked to sit for written tests in English and Tibetan Language as well as Buddhist Philosophy at Tibet House, New Delhi. Any cost of travel and accommodation will have to be borne by the applicants.
2. Those who have cleared the written tests will be called for a Final Interview at the same venue
3. Applicants will be notified of the dates of the written test, Final Interview and any other relevant information by email
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Please submit the following:
1. 2 current passport size photographs
2. Comprehensive CV in English
3. Cover letter, which should also contain your contact details such as email address and phone number. Please state the feasibility of your joining immediately in the cover letter.
4. Copies of all your Marksheets and Degree Certificates
5. Copy of Birth Certificate
6. 2 reference letters, one should be from your current/most recent employer
7. Copy of a Character Certificate from your respective Welfare Office
8. No Objection Letter from your employer, if you are currently employed
