2009 ACADEMIC YEAR ADMISSIONS
The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education, Bangalore, invites applications from eligible candidates for the following categories of teacher training for the class of 2011 (graduating year) to begin from 2009 academic year – July 1, 2009. Interested candidates who fulfill the eligible requirements mentioned below may apply.
1. Tibetan Section: Primary teachers training course to be primary teachers in Tibetan medium (minimum 50% aggregate in the XII board exam and 50% in Tibetan)
2. English Section: Primary and secondary teachers training course to be primary and secondary English teachers (minimum 50% aggregate in the XII board or undergraduate college/Univ. board exams. And 50% in English in both cases)
DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS:
• Copy of the current first and last page of RC
• Copy of current first and last page of Green Book
• Copies of certificates and degrees with mark sheets
• Health certificate from a recognized hospital
Entrance Test and Interview Schedule:
i. Entrance tests in Tibetan & English will be conducted on 15th of June, 2009 at 9.30am
ii. Interview for the Tibetan section on 15th of June, 2009 at 2.30pm
iii. Interview for the English Section on 16th June, 2009 at 9.30am
iv. Result Declaration on 17th of June, 2009
NOTE:
• Venue: The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education Academic Center, Bangalore
• Application submission deadline: June 12, 2009
• Applicants must sit for the entrance test and interview to be considered for selection
• If you need assistance for board and lodge, do apply in advance
• Applicants must have a clear position of scholarship for the training courses if selected
